In 1988 Rush Hour produced NightCap, an anthology series in the vein of the great 1950s television shows like Texaco Star Theater and Playhouse 90. The pilot episode starred Gerald Gordon and Michael Russo. In 1993 Rush Hour produced its first full-length motion picture titled "Uninvited." This dark western suspense-thriller was written and directed by filmmaker Michael Bohusz, starred Jack Elam and was sold world wide through G.E.L. Production/Distribution. The North American video distribution was made through Imperial Entertainment. In late 1996 Rush Hour, in association with Kusza Productions, Inc., began production on its second feature, "Shoot It," starring Zane Paolo and Brad Calcaterra. Post-production on "Shoot It" was completed near the end of 1997 and it was released in its first markets early in 1998. |

The Partners |
Larry Kaster began his professional career in the entertainment industry in 1975, working as a free-lance sports cameraman in Chicago. In 1977 he was offered the opportunity to photograph a pilot for a fledgling production company in Los Angeles. That job led to a move to Los Angeles and a partnership in the production company that lasted until 1980 and yielded two feature pilots, a television comedy special and several music videos. During this period, Mr. Kaster also worked extensively as a gaffer and lighting director on feature films and television shows. In the mid-1980s, after working together on a number of television projects, Mr. Kaster and David Kleinman formed the partnership that ultimately became Rush Hour Productions. Mr. Kasters production background was immediately put to use on a number of production services projects. Within a very short period the duo began co-producing industrials, commercials and PSAs for a number of companies, including Nissan Motors, J.D. Power & Associates and Toyota Motors. Mr. Kaster is a graduate of Northern Illinois University. |
